Guardian Owl (Original)

Finished framed artwork, drawn using a stippling technique, this artwork consists solely of small dots.

New Zealand’s guardian of the forest, the Ruru (Morepork) is a small endemic owl that is believed to guard sacred places, people, and help lost travellers find their way.

This drawing is one of my most detailed yet, and was mesmerising to draw.
